I just bought one myself. Got it a couple of days ago. Am loving the phone. The more I learn about what the phone is capable of, the more impressed I am

Eh what? So people are saying the recent news with FB is an absolute disaster.
Does this imply 'smartphones' are just portals to Facebook? That wouldn't be a very smart phone.

A smart phone, maybe it's just me, has a few key features:
    - Make phone calls
    - Send / receive SMS
    - Decent camera (no need to be great, that's what a real camera is for)
    - Access to the full, real Internet

I don't see any BBOS 10 phones failing to do this in the near future and beyond, until the hardware itself fails.
Yeah, if money no concern, I'd pick up a Passport SE today

Just got new Passport Silver Edition in the mail had the black version prior. Keyboard is better on new SE. BB10 moves lightning fast it's unfortunate that it will be phased out in the future.

The BB Passport best serves those who want a capability device for business use. It is not designed to appeal to the gamers and social mediaphiles even though it does cope with those things too. I would say that if you choose your phone based primarily on looks, style, latest fashionable device, posing with it in your hand at bus stops then the Passport is not really going to tick all of your boxes. But if you choose it based on what it can do and how fast it does what you want it to do, then the Passport is really 'it.'

I have. I was a massive advocate for BlackBerry years ago. Then switched to Android for a few years. Recently I've become a lot busier in my business and decided I wanted a phone to get things done with.

This is my second day with the device and I'm extremely happy with the boost to my productivity. Specifically HUB.

My one gripe with the Passport is I feel the keyboard is actually too spaced out, and I miss having dedicated period and shift keys. It did consider going with the Classic, but I know I've been spoiled by screen real estate over the last few years with my Nexus devices.

All in all I'm a happy user currently.

That's how pretty much I explain my BlackBerry phones. I dabble with the latest apps like snapchat and things like that, but they don't rule my life like it does others. As long as my phone can handle what I need to do to brilliantly(emails, texts, and spreadsheets) I'm good. I love what my BlackBerry can do and miss what it can do when I pick up an iphone. If it can dabble with the social media then that's a plus too.

I love my Passport and my Classic. I switch between them regularly. It sound cliche to say, but when I use them I get some actual work done.

I would like to buy a Passport SE, but I'm on Verizon. I read and was told different things about it not working on the network. I read that it wouldn't but I was told that if I purchase it unlocked, it wouldn't matter... anyone know?
