It depends: if you like to have a productivity / workhorse device you're right buying a Passport.
If you need a big application ecosystem, the go for Priv or any other Android phone... or iOS.

Definitely would purchase Passport again. I have the Limited Edition Red, and I noticed its not available from shopblackberry anymore. I would probably seek it out on ebay or amazon used even. =)

Tried several OSs and terminals over time: iOS since its first phone (still using one as main terminal), Palm Pre with WebOS (which I really really loved although the hardware was not pretty good) and a couple of high end Android phones (I didn't, and still don't, like that OS).

I just had the chance to have a colleague's Classic (I believe that was the model) on my hands and BB10 really blew my mind so I'm considering buying one phone with BB10 and it must be the Passport!!

Since I would have it as a second phone for work purposes (to increase my productivity and so on) the lack of apps would not be a problem but its current price and knowing that in 1 year or so the system will probably be more than dead it's stopping me on doing so...

If I can get one for a good deal then, I'm gonna go for it!!!

Sure would buy. Definitely wouldn't wait so long as I did. In my experience best ever handset I ever had. And most controversial one Love the puzzled looks, curiosity caused. Noncoformism in 100%. I do like it.
