I wish I'd have bought it now rather than a year earlier when it dug a big hole in my pocket. Passport is a great phone but it was priced too high when it was launched.

hi all...loyal bb fan here, currently using a Q10 (im all about the physical keyboard) had it since the day it was released here in the UK, really into the PP SE, seems like a good 'upgrade', whats anyones feedback moving from Q10 to Passport? i think bb10 is fantastic so hopefully this android/bb thing isnt the way forward.

Probably. I've already proven that I have absolutely no sense whatsoever by buying a PlayBook under similar circumstances.

I guess that's a silly question to ask a bunch of BlackBerry fans! Thanks everyone. I'll probably get one In the new year.

If BB included a Kenu or other slick car mount option which actually works for my car - absolutely.
If BB would take back and credit my current Classic for a reasonable amount to encourage me to upgrade, the way Apple does - and also save me the agony of trying to sell my current Blackberry on Craigslist- absolutely.
If BB would offer the ability to install a coming iteration of the Priv`s android setup even just to try it on the Passport - absolutely.

But at the moment, no. I`m using my Classic and trying to sell my original-style Passport at the moment in the Bay Area. I`m waiting for the Priv to drop in price and for the bugs to work themselves out, and then will use the proceeds to buy a Priv.

This is a lot of effort for me to then go spend a couple of hundred dollars more for the combination of form factor and Blackberrryness of the Priv. I wish they made it easier on us to stay loyal. I believe Passport is the beastlier phone but Priv has too much functionality for me to ignore, and fits in the one hand. Classic is far too slow.

    Why the heck not?

Is six CPUs and 3GB RAM not enough to send texts and make calls?

I just got mine 2 days ago. I can't believe how much I have missed. I was a heavy blackberry power user up until the Bold 9900. That was the last time I used a blackberry until two days ago

I think I'm pretty much sold anyway..just curious for people opinions... I do love my q10 but fancy a change. I have a windows phone for work which is AWFUL...my BlackBerry is such a better communication device.

How did people find the change from 4 to 3 row keyboard? I stopped by in 3 phone shops last night on my back from work in central London none had any passport to try!!

Three rows is better. Don't forget the fourth row is on the screen. Just need to make an adjustment and use two hands. Totally worth it. I thought I would stay on the touch screen forever. The z30 keyboard something that I miss but the PP keyboard rocks too. It inspires me and brings back 2007 crazy productive days.

Maybe. I have a note 4 currently, it's 'ok', I prefer it over iPhone (long time iPhone user). I have a lumia 640 with Windows 10 mobile. Nice OS, large app gap.

I had the AT&T passport for two weeks last year, first BB since my original bold. Loved the accuracy of the keyboard, and with snap, had more apps than Windows phone, but some were just a PIA to get working. I'd love to get one if the price went down, or find a good deal on a slightly used one. So, get another passport? Maybe. I'd probably pick up an android tablet if I went PP.
