I don't use my BlackBerry Passport as my primary phone anymore... but I still play with it daily.
I miss having the BB10 OS, this OS is so much more better than Android Marshmallow OS... but I need Android apps to function correctly, so my LG G5 is my primary cellular phone now-a-days.
I would buy another Passport, if I could find this red one!

May I ask what version of pocket cast you are running? I have an SE with 3.3 and Google play. Google play will not allow Mr to download. Device not supported.

    Thanks

Try finding it in Aptoide. Google it and install it then you will find all you need and later versions.

I tried to get away from bb10. I'll fully admit I've bounced around to about five different phones but always seem to throw the Sim back into one of my bb10 devices.

    So yes, I'd buy one.

I am using a BlackBerry z30, Willing to upgrade to Passport!

And if BlackBerry releases an Android powered passport, more units will be sold!

If BlackBerry release a windows powered passport many other enterprise customers will make a shift as windows has more apps compared to BlackBerry 10!

Unless it was super cheap, no. I sold mine after probably 4 months. I am buying the Mercury but the Passport just doesn't stack up with what's out there currently.

    This should say it all.

Took two months for my friend to bring it from Germany to me. It turned out that this disaster of a friend could not hold himself and opened the box to test-use the phone. The test-use went on for nearly two months.

Unless it was a back up phone probably not. With the prices dropping off nearly weekly and the fact that BB10 has one more update planed I don't see it having much of a lifespan beyond a year before BlackBerry drops what limited apps it can use compared to iPhone or Android. I'm going to say Android is probably the new BlackBerry and all else will fade away like the PlayBook. I like my PlayBook but my Samsung Galaxy TabE runs circles around it and has it beat from a productivity standpoint and utility standpoint due to the prolific number of Apps offered in the Google Play store.

I would like to rock a Classic and a Passport but unfortunately from my standpoint my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge beats it. In all areas except possibly battery life. I wish it had a Query keyboard but I'm still sure that Mercury will be like the Priv and overlooked.

I owned my Classic for11 months and loved it. Even still own it. Got the PPSE on that sale and can't imagine anyone making a better quality phone. My Passport, as the French say still gives me da Bon Heure!

Oh sorry no it was for a Passport OG. You may just want to get a Passport OG on amazon and an extra screen lol. One day you may score a deal on an SE or screen for it.

Ha ha! Four? Damn that's an investment in the future alright. I have two Passport OG and one spare screen. Even if I do have to switch over to a BlackDroid one day I will still have these beautiful, one of a kind phones that the world overlooked as my novelty collector items. They make a great backup phone as well. Plan on keeping it as long as possible.

I would love to own an SE

Regular updates from BlackBerry for Android devices make the upcoming BlackBerry Mercury an attractive alternative to BlackBerry Passports.

That is exactly what has happened that I went to PRIV 6 months ago. Constant updates and upgrades! Still using on the side my Passport but the PRIV is going forward and forward...and now the Mercury coming...

Used the original black Passport for about two years now and just added the Silver Edition. Brilliant tool and even an improvement over the original one.
