Nemory studios. Closing the real app gap that Blackberry failed to do. Shame on you John Chen. Happy to pay Nemory for good software. TS
Has Nemory got something for Whatsapp & Uber ?

Have a 2-yr old Passport Original. I have been using an iPhone 6+ and got so fed up with the animations and auto-correct cockups. So I refreshed the Passport. Took 2-days to restore battery life after it settled down (I want to delete all the android off it). Bought a Passport SE yesterday. I am far more effective with a Passport. It has real battery life (unlike iPhone) and has the essential apps. And no more rubbish!
Same experience here. Just sold my iphone SE. Great phone for some I'm sure but much happier with PP. Down to a few essential apps, all working great. What else do I need?

I just order an unlocked OG. I plan to use it for work specifically with all of the emails and contacts I have. From the reading I have done I think it will be great thanks to folks like Cobalt (I need the DealerSocket APK to work) however some of the negativity surrounding the older OS have me worried. I have another phone for apps and the like but I have my fingers crossed for this phone.

    Am I crazy?
What's an OG? BlackBerry website doesn't mention that model.

Original black. I think it's a term coined by the CrackBerry community.

Definitely considering the passport on my next purchase. I have an iPad for everything else.

I had an Android phone side-by-side my Q5. I tried the android BlackBerry apps. I felt that there's no better feel to working on a BlackBerry. Some may argue it's the way-forward but I'd stand on preference and muscle memory.

I traded my android for a z30 and boy, was I so at home!

The Passport is a true communication tool. I think it has really stood up well over the past couple years spec wise. It doesn't feel like a 2+ year old phone. It's still the best form factor of any phone I've ever used IMO. And the keyboard is my favourite to use!

Absolutely YES!!! Love love love my SE and will happily buy another to have ready when/if this one needs a successor!
Meanwhile, can anyone recommend good BlackBerry Passport tech in US? Just in case my SE needs battery replaced. That's my only concern!

Imagine my troubles fumbling between Android and BB10.

I'd swipe up on the Android phone in an attempt to close it... only to realize the obvious that it was Android. LOL!

Edit: "close" meaning to close an app. It can also mean swipe up to unlock the device.

Hah, I'm living that confusing world now, as I switch between the Priv and Passport (got those both going at the moment); the toughest thing to get past, swipe up vs. double tap to wake aside, is how different the keyboards are!

I just got one on ebay brand new for £136!, a steal and I love the keyboard. Having sold my BlackBerry Classic and regretted it ever since!!!. Sadly having to many issues with the cobalt method of downloading apps but BlackBerry world and amazon store seem to have enough for my needs.

Amazon.com has the original Passport at $181 and change right now. If it gets to $150, I'm buying another as a backup.

Funny you should mention that... I was using my Nokia N73 last night and kept swipping at the screen. LOL

*whilst on that phone... it's so good to hear it say the callers name when it rings. To date, there is no phone that as that feature natively.. I remember asking BlackBerry to incorporate that into BB10. If it was possible over 10 years ago, surely it's easy to do now? Well, that's my thinking.
