If they kept the SE the same but ditched the keyboard I'd buy 3 more other then that I'll continue to enjoy this until it's time to move on

Yes I would definitely buy one. Not sure what colour tho.. I have SE but sometimes I think the Black one is tempting... So yeah. Like a phone for work it is ten times better than an iPhone + security... for multimedia there are better phones. On the other hand you dont see too many people on the street with it, so it makes it kind of unique

I switched carriers to get this phone. It's really good! After this I'll go BlackBerry Android. Will see what's out at that time. But Passport is excellent.

My contract upgraded me to a s7 edge but I'm still on my passport atm. I really forsee no issues ahead switching modern android. I'm not saying the passport is a bad phone, it's just it's a liability in a few particular areas.

I've never had a q5 or a classic but they're a more appealing option to have the blackberry benefits on a second device. That or wait for the next android BlackBerry with a keyboard.

I also have the original and the silver edition. As soon as I find a good price on a red one I will get it also.

Definitely the best device ever made.

If they only released an Android device like the PP.

I bought an SE for a person and tried it out! The keypress is much nicer......but I hold my black passport without case often and I really like the slim light feel in hand. It really is a beautiful phone to use!

I love my BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition. BlackBerry paid attention to the details in designing this device. Premium fit and finish. Great specs. I appreciate the grippy rubber backing and feel of the keyboard.

I work in the legal profession and do a lot of typing and reading. Typing emails is a dream on this device. I don't know what the future holds for Passport. I hope it is a bright one.

Well, I did buy a Passport. Will need to point out that I bought it to replace another Passport that died on concrete impact.... 3 flights of stairs down. I'll be sticking with this model until BlackBerry release at mother powerhouse phone which I think is called something like Mercury. I know bb10 is slowly going away but slowly is the keyword that I am thinking about. I'm not in denial, but I'll hang ontovmy BlackBerry 10 Passport until BlackBerry have something better to offer.

I did look at the Priv but decided against it because of the various side issues such as the hand warmer effect. I'll wait for the next gen and probably just live with what BlackBerry serve up.

BlackBerry + Android looks to be the future, I'll embrace it when the time comes!

    Cheers all!

No. Not without a guarantee of updated Android run time. Love the phone, but BB10 alone isn't enough for me and my needs.

Just bought a new SE. Awesome device. I can't figure out why people don't want a real screen and a real keybord... marketing machine Apple is much better. Stupid people (followers instead of thinkers) fall into the marketing trap of Apple. BlackBerry is a productivity machine. SE's keybord is a bit better than the black edition. Some smoother. Keybord and filing option in email app are the killer features for me. Saves me an hour each day at the least.

Running the app store is fine. But some of the apps won't run properly as they are continuously updated to take advantage of the updated Android runtime. We run the risk of updating an app that will then not work properly because our runtime is dated.

Nope. And I see no reason to continue using it. BB10 is done. Everything is Android. I'm switching to Android.
