I was given a used Black Passport a month ago, after moving from a dead Q10 to a new LG V10 2 months ago. The V10 was my first Android device, and prior to that I had used the Q10 for many years, and had been a long time BlackBerry user. After using the Passport, I can safely say this is the best BlackBerry, and the best phone, I've ever used. I much prefer it to the V10, which in itself, is an excellent phone too.

I missed the use of a physical keyboard, and so far, nothing beats the one on the Passport... even the battery lasts longer on this 1.5 year old Passport than my brand new V10!

I was making serious typos on the V10, and also used Cobalt's Priv apps on the V10, which made the V10 supremely more usable. I use the BlackBerry for lots of work emails, and the Android keyboard on the V10 just didn't work well enough for me to stay on it. After years of heavy Q10 usage, Android just couldn't match it for quality text input.

With the demise of Whatsapp support on BB10, I was worried that I could not use the Passport post-2016. However, I've installed the Android version of Whatsapp (through 9apps.com), and aside from not being able to send pics, it works well otherwise.

I'll keep this for as long as I possibly can. The V10 now sits as a backup device.

The Passport is no longer available here in Singapore, but if I could, I'd get another one in future, maybe the SE.

I recently had to change my phone. I was watching BB Passport for a long time (1 year, at least). But, recently when I found them within my affordable range, I just wasted no more time and bought one. Recently, I also bought an iPhone 6; but guess what, I am returning it. :-)

Why are you here? You're not even making sense. With all those mistakes, you probably wrote it on an iPhone.

My Passport screen did in fact crack a couple of weeks ago the phone and screen still work and I did order another OG Passport.

I would still get a third Passport If the price were right say around $200, just to run leaks on or as a backup to my backup.
To add to the collection if I came across a Red or Silver Edition I may pay a bit more.

Actually wrote it on this pos passport that is headed bacck to warranty. I came here because I was hoping to read some news that the problems are ccoreccted. These words misspelled are brought to you from a defective handheld computer tthat should need to be supported by extra devices. I will say this onne more time. Blackberry does not want our business. Were that not true, they would fix this garbage.

After installing the latest Android Runtime... absolutely yes. I am mocked constantly at work for being "the BlackBerry guy" (read: dinosaur) but I have yet to experience a phone that offers the range of usability, security, screen quality, durability, and utility that the Password Silver Edition offers.

And yes, I've used other Android phones extensively, though not the iPhone, which my wife uses and which you couldn't force me to use with a gun to my head.
