It seems that the Passport is getting so much traction that it is now being sold at TARGET (on-line).

I agree it is so difficult to go back to the Z30 and Z10 after using the Passport. Actually on the Z30 now.
It is the opposite for me: switched back to the Z30 and sold my Passport because the hybrid nature of the Passport's keyboard is more frustrating to me than the VKB (the PP keyboard would trip into 'selection ring' mode inconveniently: this kind of inconsistency is a very irritating for me) and one handed operation is also something that matters more to me than the Passport's great screen, power, and battery life.

Nope. Great phone in principle, but let down by the use of inferior key contacts that result in double typing (Just check forums, this is not just an occasional problem) and an adhesive that lets the screen lift (I have purchased several, and EVERY single one has had this problem (again, just check the forums to see this is even more widespread than the keyboard issue)

The Passport was a missed opportunity I'm afraid.

No question. There simply isn't anything out there right now that is superior in every area (build, battery life, display and functionality)

I love the keyboard and never did see why people got so into one-handed use. Good way to drop it. But hey, personal preference so glad to see you stayed Black

Would love to get another all black one but only IF I can be certain the keypads have been beefed up to address the double type issue.

    All devices have their flaws.

    Some worse than other.

What's important is the phone keeps you productive.

Apple, Android or BlackBerry pick your POISON. They all do the same thing

Not sure......I'm starting to take allot of photos and noticing the passports auto focus seems to be a little buggy. And my fiance has LG G3 with laser focus. It's faster and better at focusing than any phone on the market. And I almost wouldn't mind having that quick focus with the leather back which is on the G4.

But I'd miss everything else that I love on the passport. Especially the keyboard and hub.

Hell Yes I'd buy it today and will after the move!

By far THE most powerful, productive and yet elegant BlackBerry yet!

PS: I think BlackBerry should've made a very special box like those executive acrylics boxen for the Z1 & Q10 at launch.

Supposing you just lost your main phone and you have the funds to buy any phone, is the Passport still your top choice?

The answer is quite simple for me: a definite YES!!

    Please chime in...

    Thanks
Yes! Going from the Z10 back to the tactile keys on the PP is simply divine (I had the 9810 before the Z10)

I have an old z10 which I got from my dad who upgraded to z30.

I thought I'd hang on to it for a backup but the thought of using it doesn't interest me.

I initially believed it would be a great weekend phone due to the size but even that couldn't convince me to set it up for that sole purpose.

The pp barring it's known issues is just too nice to leave at home!

I initially thought so too, but I realise now that the unit would be too far a stretch to type on comfortably and reach the top of the screen when required.

Still rock the Q10 at the weekends as it is a perfect pocket-sized device.
