For all Passport users: Would you still buy Passport if it didn't have any Android apps?

That's assuming they bought it because of Android apps.
People do not buy BlackBerry devices because of Android apps. That's either a bonus or a nuisance. NOT a selling point.
And specially not for the Passport.
Yes.

I would have purchased the Passport regardless. The android apps were just a bonus
Blackberry Passport running 10.3.2.680
Yes. I bought it because I've always preferred the way the OS works. It's a communication tool first for me, the games are just a bonus.

See what I mean?
Maybe, but maybe not, the android apps swung me over fence. I don't use a lot of apps, but the few I have from android side are important enough to me that I would have to really think hard about giving them up. Mostly, offline "good" navigation and a news app (I use news360). I also like tunein radio, I use the android ported one from amazon store
Without a doubt OP. Best phone I've ever used.

I have a Z10 and no Android app.
Always happy to help!
The hardware and BBOS10 were enough for me. Android apps are a nice addition but the phone was perfect (for me anyway).

Absolutely. iBeam steel construction, amazing keyboard and the hub! Passport build quality is solid in any language. And 3450mah battery....!!!!!

Yes, for me the android apps are a plus
Posted via CB10
Yes, because of the screen, physical keyboard and hub. BUT a native Kindle app is essential. This is essential and something BlackBerry needs to deliver by the end of the year. As Kobo does not support Amazon buys.

It has Android Apps!?!

Absolutely!! What's your point?
Posted from my Kick@ss AT&T Passport.
Absolutely. Even to this date, I have downloaded nothing from Amazon's Appstore, nor have I bothered with installing the Google Play Store either. Had no need to. Stock is fine for me thus far.

Whats an Android App?? and what would do with it?
Yep. Android is just gravy.
no i would not have my passport if i couldnt install apks. biggest reason, banking, theres no chase bank app??? 90% of the apps that i use on my bb are from the play store.
yes and I would still buy blackberry if they stopped android app
Yes I dont have any android app on my device..
Edit: I just have two apps apart from whats comes with device.. CB10 and whatsapp and deleted evernote, linkedin, facebook or anyother which I dont remember if there were any..

I agree with the others. The android apps are just a bonus. The phone does everything i need for work regardless. Two things it's missing is a proper signature for email and no way to attach files to your calendar days. Other than that an almost perfect phone.
The only gripe is clash of clans and a few other games suck up my battery. However, all that does is take me down to 10 percent by the end of my day.
Passport FTW.

Of course it's great to have all those Android apps.
Good for studying, where BlackBerryZ have no apps.
But I had used blackberry as legacy device without android too, so why would I didn't buy a passport without Android Runtime?
A friend of mine got my old z10 and he was an android user before, now he used his bb without any android app installed on it.

Yeah. I don't even have any Android apps on here anymore. I had instagram but deleted it because I realized I don't even use it on my Passport.
I also used to have my banking application, but use the web browser instead.
So yeah, I'd definitely buy the Passport even if it didn't have Android apps.
