I moved to BlackBerry for bb10. Had a Z10, moved to passport sight unseen. I'm not an android fan, or iPhone for that matter. Unfortunately there isn't much left. W10 is actually quite interesting, as is sailfish. Ubuntu has promise as does tizen. In all (except w10) cases though, you have to flash the phone yourself, and possibly do without hardware features. Jolla has a phone running sailfish ootb, however it is old hardware.

Basically, with BlackBerry stopping bb10, I am back to the drawing board. As a matter of interest, I am a programmer who has been using Linux since 1992 - so I should like android. I know it well, having used it in several projects. I still wouldn't use it for personal stuff. Read into that what you will

Sad I have to find a new OS, I was quite liking bb10 and it's qnx goodies.

After using a SE for a week, I'll repeat my post to ABSOLUTELY YES.

The screen and shortcut keys with the keyboard would add tremendously to the Android experience. IMO. take away the hoops we have to jump through with BB10 to get working Android apps, and it's gonna be killer!

If it supported CDMA also I would in a heartbeat. This device is amazing, but running Android would be even better.

Absolutely yes. I use Priv, so I'm pretty used to Android now, despite it lacking some of the finesse of BB10. I would relish a Passport running Android.

Maybe, just maybe. I'd love to see another passport with longer screen (4x3) and a slide out keyboard or something like that. Id prefer it to be bb10 tho. Just absolutely loved my passport, btw!

I would certainly buy it. Dont get me wrong I love BB10 but there are so many small things that are missing... Or just not quite working with the Android emulation. Btw the best mobile OS I ever used was by far WebOS.. but same issues, so many things did not work. The only OS I would never ever use is IOS.

I'd consider it. I like BB10, but it looks like it's dying the slow death.

I'd rather buy a PP with windows 10 and only and only long after " you have to ".

Will see how long my BB10 devices will go. Maybe people will eventually wake up and enough migrate to BB10 to get it going again. If only BlackBerry would stop shooting itself in the foot with one screw up after another (biggies being BlackBerry for sale, exit if not profitable announcement etc...)

I'll stick with my bb10 os until it's absolutely done for, then I shall switch over to the new Android coming out which seems to have better specs then the passport. Bb10 os is by far the best there is
