Yes. Simple. No bb 10 devices this year and probably never again.
I have no alternative for my Passport. So when BlackBerry OS10 dies I will have android on my Passport

After using android for years I switched back to BlackBerry and I love the build, feel and size of my passport, I love the HUB and the gestures but I must admit, I really miss how well integrated the android os was on my xperia. I'm not talking Samsung android, that truly is a piece of junk, but just generic android with all the apps you need starting in a split second and running smoothly without a issue.

If they can come up with a Passport with a hub and gestures exactly the way it is now,but having the integrity of the android and symbols on the keys, not on the virtual column, I will buy it.

I definetly would. I love the large screen and physical keys, but with out true Pebble support, I can not use BB10 as a daily driver.

A Passport with Android would be killer at $499 or less!

I would. I love the Passport. But wouldn't be better to dual boot OS's. Make it a power users phone. To be honest though, now that I have Google services running, thanks to Cobalts files here at CB, on My Z-30 and Passport I don't really need the "full" android experience I would still like to see how Android runs on a Passport.

No, I don't like this idea. Should we give respect to Passport?

I might be willing to have a dual boot Android phone. But no BB10 is way superior to Android.

Had a Priv for 2 weeks, and took it back. I missed my Passport way too much.. I would definitely buy a Passport with Android, but BB needs to integrate the Hub better in Android and maintain the Passport's virtual keyboard extensions. And, the camera needs to be improved!

I'm not a tech expert by any means, but wouldn't the android experience be a little screwy with the dimensions of the Passport? Most, if not all, of android are slab phones. I would think they would have to re-write code to make it work with the square screen.

On the other hand we have android tablets that don't seem to bothered by the bigger screen. Then again, they are rectangular slabs.

If anything is going to hold an Android Passport back, it would be the screen.

If you're wondering how android would look on the passport, download Nova Launcher from the Play store. Of course it's gonna act like an app and if you swipe up it will take you back to bbos but it's enough to give you the general feel of the droid menu and interface on the bb.

No . I have the Priv which IMO is replacement of my Z30 because i missed the VKB badly and also to some extent is replacement of my Passport as it has PKB . Priv has addressed both my requirements perfectly . Only thing which i miss on the Priv is the BB10 hub . The sooner bb10 hub is replicated on the Priv then it will be complete device for me . Passport Se still remains my daily driver because of the hub.

2nd time of answering: yes definitely.

The best of all worlds: quality; easy business working size (fingers); wouldn't need a second pair of glasses; and all the apps in the world operating in the most progressive OS. Plus: + Sky News and Sky Go.. heaven..

Yes... If BB10 is as dead as everyone says, then there's no way I'm going IPhone, & Windows is about as far behind as BB10 where apps are concerned. So, if that's the choice, then YES.
