I'd be interested, but if the specs were the same (minus the difference in screen size) id probably stay with my passport.

    Isn't it basically the Z30?

A screen that wide and add the extra height, resolution would be all messed up.

If you want a all touch BlackBerry than I suggest you wait until MWC where the rumor is that a all touch device will be announced. Visa, Rio, Manitoba whatever the codename is this week for the device. The Passport was designed with a keyboard and the keyboard was designed for the Passport so a all touch Passport I can't see that happening.

Posting WIDE with CB10 on the Blackberry Passport
I'm with you, but as far as MWC rollouts I think BB will come there with something really Innovative that will shake the event like an earthquake, really!! the Passport is just the beginning of BB thinking out of the box mentality.

I'm just curious if such a device would be popular? I love the Passport and it's physical keys, especially because they're capacitive! But I think an all touch Passport would also be neat.

    What are your thoughts?

They might release BlackBerry visa and Victoria. They are just rumors but they will are really innovative and nice like the passport

A few months ago, before I bought my Passport, I would have say yes. I was an all touch addict. But now, I wonder how I could do without my keyboard... it's so comfortable to use !

Maybe. Although I personally like the notion of 'work wide', unfortunately it is a trend that is not catching up with major apps available as most of them still assume the dimension of taller and thinner touch screen slab. Unfortunately BlackBerry is not (yet?) in the position to dictate general trends the way iPhone and Android devices currently are.

I think you would be fine with a QuadHD just like the current Android flagships like the Note 4. In portrait mode, that's a 1440x2560 resolution. The passport is 1440x1440.

If there is anyone out there good with concepts and quick renders, maybe you can get the xperia z ultra and slap the blackberry os on it with a 1440x2560 resolution. The passport and z ultra width are almost identical. Obviously the z ultra is taller. With a virtual keyboard activated and a 6.4 inch screen like the z ultra, you would still have a pretty big amount of screen not being taken up by the keyboard.

Here is a link to another thread where another user posted pics of his z ultra and passport.

Don't think so, I have forgotten how nice was the keyboard after using the storm, the torch, the Z10 and the Z30.
Now I am totally against a touch screen.

So... we are basically talking about a Passport with no keyboard and a 4:3 screen? Thus it would be the same size but with more screen and no keyboard. That's basically a Z10 that is 35% wider. Hmmm... maybe... maybe

An all touch passport would attract non business users. There by increasing a chance for more native apps being built for blackberry.

Ofcourse the product needs to have a Leica quality to beat other smartphones.
