A lot of people feel that the spike in price has something to do with the recent sell out on shopblackberry.

Supply and demand should level out soon.


Edit: It sounds like I'm talking about the latest iPhone lol

I just went back to using my Passport. Love the screen size & keyboard but miss the application selections. I don't think it will be my main driver for the long term. Looking forward to the KEYone.

If you have TMO Digits or any other plan like it, you should have no problem spending money on a Passport, IMO.

I'm actually dual wielding a Priv for secure apps and use my Passport for all communication. I feel like it's the best of both worlds. I could probably have used one of the DTEK's, but the Priv was just sitting unused in a box.

I would have given a resounding YES on 03/03/2017, But then the dreaded "Emergency Calls Only Virus" happened! Now my Passport is neutered into a micro tablet :-( I was ready to add the "Mercury" to my Blackberry family also. But now...Not! I wouldn't be ready to jump ship if it was just my Passport having this issue, I'm an Electronic Technician and I understand that electronics can fail from one moment to the next. But there are many others having the same issue. But as many others, I'm out of warranty, and BB is divorcing OS10 for the more attractive Android. I own Android devices also and I think they're great. But I've always been a BB man.

I've just recently purchased a passport SE, as a replacement for my samsung galaxy tab s2.
Been using it for a week & I gotta say it improves my productivity a lot.
The battery is surely great, not to mention the build quality.
Sure, it's OS is dying, it's apps are limited unlike android & ios, but if you are looking for a productivity tool then passport is the right choice.
It's not my daily driver, I use iphone 6 as my main. But for documents like docs, xls, pdf, you name it, my first choice is definetly passport SE!
