The reason for asking this is that many people say that passport or BlackBerry os 10 is not worth anything so I thought why dont I ask blackberry users about it. What do u think guys does a passport worth 300$ nowadays?

No. I would not spend $300 USD on a Passport. I would only buy a Passport nowadays as more of a collectors piece rather than a longterm device.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE BB10, it's just on the verge of end of life.

Sure, just bought a SE, loving it, still have my 3 3/4 year old z30 for backup. Why cange, as long as Telus keeps the required frequencies, i'm good.

It's still very useful and I'll certainly stick with mine for a while. But I cannot recommend someone to spend money on a Passport in 2017.

Absolutely!!!!!! The passport has very strong network signals for what I need. It's built like a ww3 tank, less corruption like on android, and I just hate glass slabs. The passport also has amazing looks going for it and the apps are great. By great I mean all the apps I want are on it and those not there, android vm takes care of em. The passport has also helped me wean myself from silly apps like snapchat and I'm really not going to care if whatsapp dies. I'll relegate all that to my multiple tablets. Reading on the passport is great, and I love the browser. Worst keyboard ever is the Google keyboard on android and I don't do anything secure on my android without rooting it, and clearing all Googles software including its keyboard and using a firewall. Only thing missing on my passport is an Nfc enabled banking app for tap payments.

No reason to spend $300. Unless you really want a SE.

I guess it depends on if you need to purchase It brand new. There's lots of mint condition Passports being sold in the marketplace and elsewhere for a fraction of that price. I'm not sure I could recommend buying one brand new despite how much I love my Passport SE. I suppose if you know the ecosystem you're getting into and the future limitations, then sure!

It's a fantastic device but it is what it is at this point.

Same here.. Even if the SE will be $200, I think I'd just use that money to save up for the Mercury.

I just got a mint SE and have it all setup now. I plan on using this until the KEYone arrives at my door!

The screen, battery and mostly keyboard are what keeps me loving this device. Everything else is just icing on the cake!

There are a lot of people going crazy with the new Nokia 3310, I don't see what's wrong with buying a passport today. It's still a very cool piece of technology.

It's all about perspective. As long as you don't need the latest and greatest, go ahead. Not for $300.00 though. It's going on 2 plus years and looks better than every glass slab out there. FYI I got mine last week for just over $180 US unlocked and sealed new. (OG passport FTW!)

I was able to play around with the Keyone in Toronto last night and I think I am going to keep my Passport and Classic for the next while. Maybe I'll change my mind around Christmas time.

BB10 will outlast Android! Just you wait! Stage 1: denial
