Anyone tempted by the Windermere with it's touch sensitive keyboard (that I imagine can be used like a trackpad) and it's larger screen instead of a classic?

Yeah, I don't like the look of that ether.
Until now, I was wondering why the made a big deal about bringing the trackpad back and then not putting it on the Q30. I will be interested to see how the keyboard performs for selecting text.

Not with that 3-row keyboard. I won't deviate from the format that I use at home on my PC. Don't need to relearn everything. And the need to swipe on it just to see the symbols make it less efficient as well. And I doubt you'll be able to use it as a trackpad since it already has planned touch functions. Such as swipe left will be delete the whole word like the virtual keyboard of the Z series. So you can't swipe left to move the cursor left. And I think swipe down will be to reveal the symbols. So again, you can swipe down to move the cursor downward...

My last two BlackBerry's have been full touch. I've ditched my Z10 for a Q10, it was like home from home from when I had a curve. The new layout might by a bit strange for long term keyboard users.

I spend some NDA time with it, so I can not share anything.

    At least it's different ;-)

I'm not switching back to a keyboard device ever.

I think that you only can't share pictures, but you can tell a bit how it feels. Was it a final product of a prototype?
At first I was shocked by the pictures, but now I am actually starting to like it. Love the specs... Looking forward to try it out.

looks like its a swipe up to change the buttons. The 3 row keyboard is soooo SLEEK and minimalist it creates alot of possibilities for bb future devices.

I actually prefer the sharp corners. I wish that was the design for the z10 and 30.

I like the Windermere (AKA Passport) more now than after the first flat-on photos were released. The square corners look somehow less square.

I'm really curious about the capacitive keyboard and three rows of keys. There must be tricks there that we just don't see now.

I can see the Passport being my next BlackBerry

Wow, the passport is huge. It's too big for my liking and my pockets, lol.
Classic wins for me. It looks like a one handed device.

Lets be honest. In few years the patent right of bb over qwerty finishes. They had to change it.
