    Hey guys!

This is my first post here, so hello to everyone.

Recently i bought a used Blackberry Passport from eBay. The seller had in the description "Looking new, in very good condition". I bought the phone for 150€ which is like 160$. The phone came yesterday and i already had problems with the Thief-Protection. I got that sorted out today but the screen has a weird "Blue-Green Light" on the screen when its turning to a black background. I know it sounds a little weird, so i have attached a screenshot:

Now i have a couple of questions

1.) You think i'd be able to get a 30-50% refund because it was not mentioned in the description?

2.) If i buy a replacement screen, would a Blackberry-noob like me be able to replace it?

3.) Would replacing the screen most likely fix the issue ?

    Looking forward to your answers

    Thanks guys!

    best regards

I would send back to the seller and find another Passport

I would demand a full refund. That's unacceptable imo

That's false advertising, I would demand a full refund.
And yes replacing the screen would fix the issue, there are also guides available on the disassembly of the phone.

I wouldn't mind keeping it if the seller would refund me $100 of the purchase price. Which he might agree to do considering he paid zero for it

Thanks for some awesome and fast replies.
I'll try to get in contact with the seller and issue a refund or at least a half refund so i can buy myself a new screen.

    best regards

Ebay has a warranty... contact seller & if nothing arranged, let eBay handle it...you will get a refund for it including s/h...

I believe that blue-green led light blinking is due to the PushProtect app running the background. That app is amazing by the way.
