    I am unable to determine if the Passport will be sold in China or not. Apparently several BB models are, but I can't find any information on the Passport.

    I suppose my other option is to buy one elsewhere and bring it to China... but if I were to do that, can I be sure it would work properly? Can there be issues with foreign networks?

    Thanks in advance... I have been using a second-hand Torch 9900 for a few years and I just love it; I REALLY want the Passport, and nothing else!

    No BB10 phones officially sold in China. But you can still use your passport here. Recommend the carrier of China Unicom because they have the only 4G band that PP supports. Good luck!

    Thanks guys! I was tempted to chicken out and get a Bold 9930 (which is sold here), but I keep reading Passport reviews and really want to go all the way with the newest BB.

    Skip the 9900 and go for the passport!

    You will at least have a very special phone no one else has!
    And everyone will look at you and ask what is that and than you can say: it's a special phone that's hard to get! It's selling out within hours when it becomes available and I've been lucky enough to get one!

    'NO' for the question. Well i ordered mine over a week ago on Taobao.com, and am still waiting for it. It's now getting really hard to get things through HK customs. Hope they can make it tonight, i was informed this morning that they failed last night hahaha

    Passport supports China Unicom (2G, 3G and 4G) and China Mobile (though 2G only). And forget about China Telecom.
