Hello. The red passport just got reduced to $599 in the U.S. and I have a coupon to knock it down to $499.99. This equals $625.72 CD which is obviously still worth it for me. Will this phone work for me in Canada? I live in a border town I can ship it to my relatives in the states and pick it up. Someone answer quickly I dont know how long this coupon is going for!
YES! You can absolutely use that passport on Rogers! The one ShopBB US ships is the SQW -1, which is the same as Canadian Passports! Go and save some money! :D

all gsm BlackBerry devices are penta band they work on every Canadian carrier including the rare wind.
Does that include duty?

I don't think there is any duty, just HST or whatever sales tax your province has.
I have bought a couple Passports from ShopBlackBerry, using the Canadian site. They ship from the USA and only HST is collected on them.
Or were you asking if he was going to declare the phone when crossing the border?

Ok so you would be looking at 100 more for exchange plus your provincial tax at the border. So his price would be more like 700 after all is said and done then right?

I have ordered from the US site and had it delivered to Canada. Shipping was 20.99 and I paid HST since I live in Ontario. The main difference between Canadian site and US is when ordering from the US site the taxes and shipping was in US dollars as well.
There was no other brokerage/duty fees

Did you have any discount? Because buying it from the Canadian site would have actually been cheaper because of the exchange rate right now. $799.99 on the Canadian site is cheaper then $699.99 on the U.S. I got mine for $499.99 USD of the U.S. site that's why i purchased. Shipped it to a U.S address also so I'm paying U.S tax also. I'm just a Canadian that will drive over the border and pick it up haha takes 5 minutes
I don't see the option to ship to Canada. Mexico is the only other option.... what did you do to get the option to ship to you?

The shopBB site is weird, the first time I picked a US address to ship to and it sent it to my Canadian address anyways. Then the second time it gave me the option in the drop down to ship to Canada.
