    currently shredding the os to reload

    called tech support 2hrs later no solution problem solving the os to see were the error is amazon app is intregatd into the os cannot delete and reinstall have to reload os

    Lots of users experienced this on other devices with the 10.3.0.1xxx leaks too.
    The fix for them was downloading the Amazon Appstore apk from their website and installing it.

    If you download the latest update, you may be able to delete it that way

    I'm having an issue with mine as well. I get the popup for permissions, tap on accept and it closes. Can't delete as the app is required like Blend, pictures, movies , etc.

    You can't delete the app. When I tried to download the app,it told me I had a newer version already and closed.


    UPDATE: I was trying to use the APK I already had in my downloads. Just go to the Amazon website and send the new link to your email and download it from the link it sends you. Mine is working now.

    You also can uninstall it in the android settings. You can access android settings in Ghost Commander (found in BlackBerry World)

    Open Ghost Commander, select applications, select Amazon with a long press then chose Manage. From there you can chose uninstall.

    Try installing the APK directly from the website, then delete the app and reinstall it.

    As it seems using a old backup only transfer pictures and contacts other wise it will override the passport settings had to rewipe the phone twice to fix this.

    Mine is working fine now that I resent the app to my phone from Amazon. I emailed them about Prime video not working from the app and they essentially said it's a known problem.

    My amazon app store was not working either so I went to amazon and Re downloaded. Started working immediately.

    If you loaded your passport with a backup from another BB10 device, other than a passport, and that device had amazon app in backup, it won't work on passport.

    I experienced the same problem. Only way I could get it to work was through settings--->accounts--->add account and select amazon there. It opens and works from there.

    I had to reload from a backup again for other reasons and made sure amazon app was not in the backup. Once reloaded on passport, amazon app works fine.

    Wow!! can't believe it really work.. I have tried everything else.. thank you for the good advice.. the Ghost commander guys is an app.. just download it.. when open look for the amazon app and un-installed it. When I did I didn't even have to re-install it again, I just when back to the screen and the app was still there I enter and it works now..
