Well the text messages now work. Huzzah, but in the realm of if it's not one thing it's another: now I can't search contacts from the phone app.
So when you type a name, the app turns into the contact list, but then I cannot search.
I have to leave phone, goto contacts, then search.
    *sigh*

Well after 3 long work days of texting and emailing and an interceding weekend of nothing; I'm happy to report it seems ok. I have a feeling my phone was watching me watch the K1 stuff.

Mattster723 .... so would you conclude that deleted all the TEXT conversations was the fix ? I'm having issues with Texting delays and random reboots with 10.3.3 .... and also all the backlight issues, slow wake-up, etc ...

Yes. Also as I just posted I think the fact that one backup I had to use was a z10 backup cause issues along with ATT saying I needed 2205 when I had it already and me saying ok.
    So a confluence of errors?
As to the texts, I found that the texts that were disappearing had a string back to 2014. So what I did was searched for those/that recipient and found that each text string was actually separated as if they were individual messages. I then deleted them and voila!
Well voila as of today. Each day I hope it works and so far yes.

Yesterday my wife texted me. Today she asked why I hadn't responded. I said that I hadn't received her text. I checked my Hub and no text was shown. I had been in a basement where there is no signal when she sent the text. I asked her to send me another text, so I could see when my phone would print the time stamp. She sent the new text, but when I received it, the entire history of our text conversations was erased. This is a problem!

Overheating - ocassionaly my Passport does get warm. I figure it is usually caused by too may things opened at once and too many browser pages opened. I will shut a few down and it gets better, but last week I noticed something unusual. The phone felt normal, except the upper right hand corner, exactly at the front facing camera, and it was hot! I had one App open - Twitter. Pretty strange.

Corb that's exactly what happened to me. Get the ultimate backup, and autoload the 2205

Mattster, what specifically happened to you and what did Ultimate Backup solve?

If you read the beginning of the thread, my texts were disappearing. So it was suggested since Link doesn't exactly work, backup using ultimate backup, then use an autoloader for 2205, that solved the main issues, then get your back reinstalled.

I didn't read entire thread but I know from other threads and it happened to me, HUB flickering like crazy, due to face10, solution was to delete face10 and reinstall which gets you latest version. Once I did that the HUB hasn't flickered since.
