My Passport Silver Edition runs very hot in the upper-right zone when the screen is on, even if in no stress usage. Some apps need a long time to open (es. Kindle). Is that normal?
The device has only few days of usage, but the problems described were immediately noticeable since first run.

The first couple of days your phone will work a lot to get settled with all your accounts and messages and stuff. After that your phone should have normal temperatures and lower cpu usage.

However, if you use Android apps from Amazon Store or sideloaded your phone can get hot because of very high cpu usage even with no apps running. That is a common problem.

Just monitor the current cpu usage when the phone gets hot and than try to figure out what app might cause the cpu usage to stay high when no app is running. System usage should be around 4-7 % when nothing is running.
