My Passport rejects all incoming call numbers not stored in my phone book.

I checked the call blocking settings but they are all turned off. When I use the same sim in my Z10 I am able to receive all calls.

Please HELP! It is some setting which I am unable to find

Could be something with the parental controls.

Same thing with my phone. Telus is sending me a new one. It's random sometimes, I noticed my phone overheated once with the jelly case installed & since then she's been acting up. It won't even allow me to save pictures I take, only screen grabs or only when I attach?

This was mentioned by BB10 owners that installed a leaked 10.3 OS on their devices. Disappointed to see it is also present on some Passport :-(

I had this same issue on my Passport, took me awhile to realize a pattern but it was identical - phone numbers that weren't saved in my contacts were rejected.

Took my phone to my carrier and they gave me a new SIM card to try, to no avail.

I found this thread and checked parental controls, they were disabled, but the issue I was having matched up with what Parental Controls does exactly, so I decided to try enabling them, saving settings, then disabling them. This seems to have worked!

I will update once I get through a work day tomorrow (100+ calls per day)

Yes the above solution is the official work around blackberry gave us. The problem stems from doing a restore from a z10 backup

On my passport, I use hosted BES and have the same problem, but when I go into settings I don't have a parental control option, despite it showing up when I search.

    Any ideas anyone? Thanks!

Settings > security and privacy > parental controls but if you already tried that then I'm not sure.

If you're on BES you can't access Parental Controls.

Not 1000% positive, but that parental controls toggle might have worked for me.

Just got two incoming calls from Microsoft yesterday that both worked perfectly (I for sure did not have the numbers in my phonebook)

    *fingers crossed, knock on wood*

Try doing a backup, then security wipe and "custom restore" without "settings".
