Hiya, for housekeeping I reloaded the device OS of my Passport with Link today and my device never woke up. It said reload failed or sth like that, and the device is not turning on and the red LED light is blinking like crazy. I tried the 13-sec volume up-down trick but nothing seems to be working. Is there any way I can resuscitate it or is it the end of the road?

Hiya, thanks for your response. Can I trouble you some more and ask you to send me towards the latest and most reliable version of the autoloader? I’ve never done this before; since the Passport is almost dead, why not try my luck now? Thanks so much — in advance!

Use an autoloader for a fresh install.

Actually I am still using 10.3.2.2514, I don´t see the point to update ( if it is not broken...) you can find many posts with 10.3.3 os, just remember you can´t downgrade. Watch this it includes links and how to use an autoloader. Just remember you need a windows machine, if you use a mac, you need to use a windows bootcamp partition, autoloaders doesn´t work on parallels or vm ware virtual machines.
