    Hello guys,

I have tried everything I could with my BB passport. I have wiped everything and I have installed every single autoloader that exists. And always the same, I cant see anything on the screen, it lights up slightly but nothing appears on the screen. The led, goes red at the beginning, green when installing the autoloader and thats all. I dont know if it is a hardware problem. If anyone could help, I would appreciate it. Thanks guys.

Autoloaders are the life savers, sounds like a hardware issue if no autloader brings it back to life.

Use the Passport autoloader (1.46 gb file only) here if you have not tried it yet: https://mega.nz/#F!Kd0DSILa!W6od4GcSMoHRk0GJ2sOQKQ

If you have used this file and still no luck then you probably have a hardware issue.

When I load the autoloader, the mobile responds properly with my laptop (with a hard reset) and the autolader is installed. While is being installed there is a green led (which I think its correct) after that, the mobile tries to boot again, but I dont see anything on the screen. As I mentioned, the screen turns on but is not bright at all, but no messages or errors, nothing.

Can a faulty battery affect the behaviour of the screen? How do I know if any of the components are faulty? Maybe a problem with the motherboard??

If it is a screen problem only then you should be able to do some things, however I am not sure what it's capable to do after a clean boot up, before configuration. Maybe someone here knows. E.g. maybe you could try to connect to Link to see if it connects, map drives or try to access calender or something?

Why bother with an autoloader in 2018 for the passport? It's not like BB are releasing new updates or am I missing something?

New to autoloaders had to do this for the KEYone as my carrier takes forever to push updates

I did face similar problem with my Passport last month.
Leave it connected to PC for entire night so that your battery is fully charged and then try autoloader. It worked for me at least.

You're missing something as there was an update in April covering among some other things a krack vulnerability fix.

Really you think 10.3.3.3057 is more stable?
BTW, are they both leaked updates. What is the latest official Gold Edition?
I actually tried to go back to 10.3.3.2049, but my 128G SD card couldn't be recognized or formatted by my passport.

10.3.3.3216 is the latest official release.

They are all official in fact as they must come from BlackBerry.

Some Passport owners have reported problems with 3216. Others have not.

You could try 3216. If problems, then install 3057.

....or just install 3057, and be done.

    "Gold Edition"?

That only applies to the first official release of a new branch OS. For 10.3.3, it was 10.3.3.746.

Every release since - and they have all been "official", is just an update to that release.

And none of these releases have been "leaks" since around the early 10.3.0 days (if not earlier, someone else will have to correct me). All have been officially available directly from the BlackBerry OS servers.
