    I have a Blackberry Passport and every time I set my phone to Silent or Vibrate, it is constantly changing itself back to Normal or to Vibrate or some other setting without me doing anything. Even if my phone is just sitting on my desk and I haven't touched it after I just set it on silent, five minutes later it will be back to Normal and ringing.

    Any ideas what is causing this? I work in a business that requires my phone to stay silent when I set it to silent.

    Do you have a third party app that controls the LED or Profile settings? Or have you ever installed one of those types of apps in the past?

    Try to soft reset your device by holding the 'up' and 'down' volume together until it shutdown and restart. You can delete the screen shot later on...

    Sometimes even deleting leaves residual software behind.
    Reinstall the app,
    Turn off all settings for that app,
    Then delete the app again.

    Or do a factory reset or OS reload.
