    I've not been able to figure this out. If my device 'profile' is on Normal, and I'm making a phone call, the pressing of each number is louder, than loud. Is there a way to adjust this?
    Am I merely missing the setting somewhere?


    I'm using the official BlackBerry OS (my Passport is unlocked, and directly from BlackBerry).

    This seems to be a bug at the moment, you can switch to a silent profile and the sound is gone.

    You can plug your headset and 'the louder than loud' dial sound will no longer be heard... yeah, I know, it is a silly option.. but it works...

    I wouldn't recommend that, otherwise he'll be back here in a couple of months complaining of a knackered headset socket...
