    Hi everybody. I have a problem with my BB Passport. This is the second one I have with the same problem. The keyboard back light flickers on and off, seems to be in low light conditions. Any suggestion?

    My keyboard flickered a lot last night in bed with a small reading lamp on. The screen was flickering this am when I tried to open the settings icon,it was fine once I closed the two active windows that I had open(music and browser). It was cycling between normal and black rapidly. Don't recall a BlackBerry having bugs like this, I'm on official ATT 10.3 what ever

    Trying doing a reboot, that helped with my flickering backlight keyboard.

    Interesting I've never heard of this before. If you've switched out 2 devices I think the problems may be the end user. Can you list some apps you have installed?

    Nah it's probably a bug. There are no apps that can control the keyboard backlight or have ability to modify the ambient light sensor value..
    Usually a reboot will fix most issues of that sort though

    I noticed something similar when I was on a 10.3.0.x build bit the issue went away with the build I'm on.

    I have had a similar problem. BlackBerry support couldn't resolve it or determine the cause. Proximity sensor doesn't work reliably either.

    Guys I just wanna teel u that the screen protector makes some issues like this, does any one who have this problem have a screen protector? Have u tried to remove it??

    I removed it, soft reset, hard reset, reload software several times, etc. The whole deal.

    Yeah I have it... sometimes it flickers and sometimes it. Just doesn't turn on until a reset. Same goes for my proximity sensor not working half the time. Opened a support ticket with BlackBerry hopefully they fix it soon.

    I decide to downgrade my passport to 10.3.0.908 because with all 10.3.1.xxx I had a keyboard light flickering

    This just happened to me. I reset my phone last night and today, I was searching for apps to download from the BBWorld and the backlight kept flickering on and off. PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2576.
