If this is true OP, BlackBerry will have lost all credibility with regards to security. A simple website disabling the audio on a handset could put doubt as to how they could have even secured an entire OS in android.

Jesus Christmas already. This is in no way a backdoor, best case it's a bug handling some unexpected audio.

    No backdoor. Full. Stop.

I'm just saying if it's true. I personally think it's a bug and not a backdoor as well. Whether it's true or not is up to BlackBerry to figure out.

Why does BB10 on Passport have so many "backdoors" open for manipulation of OS-img_20151128_214139.png

I guess it's nothing and OP found out that it's an android app causing his problems.

No one has been able to replicate. So problem still in question.
At least I can try to pin point an issue than criticize and be useless to people.

Ahhh, right. So not a single person can replicate your problem. Therefore let's go from A-Z and say the entire BlackBerry 10 operating system has been compromised.

    Logical.

You're getting kind of troll-y dude.

I'm starting to think that if this was really a problem, you wouldn't have made separate threads with different symptoms of the same problem.

Actually, this thread has multiple symptoms listed. The other is a specific thread with a specific question.

And go check the other thread out.
As the hunt continues for that one.

    My ******* god.

    On 11/8/15 he posted this:

Just got off the phone with BlackBerry because the screen became useless on 90% of the screen.

Their replacing the device for the 4th time. They say it's hardware related. Not software.

    Posted via CB10
This is, of course, after beginning this thread by saying that BB10 is compromised by backdoors and "OS manipulation." False alarm. 4 replacements!

8 days ago he starts a thread blaming Rhapsody for audio issues, AGAIN.

20 minutes ago he starts a thread and says this:

Had a Passport for less than two weeks. Worked fine for two switches of the SIM card. On the third time of switching back to the Passport, the SIM card was not recognized as being inserted [...] My Passport is now in the process of being replaced.
We are now on the 5th or 6th Passport replacement. I have no idea what the **** you do to your phones, but I am very surprised that BlackBerry continues to put up with you. It is really quite impossible to have that many defective devices.

Moderators, can you please close these threads? I think this guy has nothing better than to sit at home and start phantom threads.

Audio issues, screen issues, and now sim card issues. There are actual users who probably need help.

My first purchased one was fine. But doing the OS reload to correct the OS. AT the time didn't take correctly and BlackBerry issued a replacement. Since than, they all have been faulty some how.
This last one had audio issues. And then went to swap SIM back into it and failed to recognize SIM card. The network and SIM worked perfectly prior.

WHO GIVES A ****? IT LOOKS FINE. Yet, I bet you complained, cost BlackBerry more money in shipping to print you a label to send it back. Then they likely sent you another replacement that you either didn't like for some made up reason or damaged. Rinse and repeat.

    Companies' worst nightmare.

You're being criticized because you don't know what "backdoor" means and using it wrong. This was many of our points from the start. Your ignorance is frustrating.
