I'm using blackberry passport, running on OS 10.3.3. I have faced difficulty in accessing my 'pictures' app in the device. It worked fine until few months ago, but from then, I do not specifically remember since when, every time I try to access my photos, the app shows "Error: the media library can't be accessed. Please try again later or restart your device if the problem persists."

I have tried later and have restarted the device several times but it is not getting better. The only way to access photos are through file manager. Is there any way to correct this problem?

Remove SD card and restart the phone.

Try holding the volume up and the volume down button at the same time until device reboots.

Hi, I tried it but it did not work. After rebooting, the 'pictures' app shows the the same error sign. It is weird since I can access the files through the file manager but not in the app.

Also, should I get a SD card?
