Using a blackberry passport, unlocked on net10. Sometimes when I receive a call I am unable to swipe left to answer it also sometimes I am not able to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to exit an app. Could this be a hardware or software issue and is there another way to answer the phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Screen dirty? Or maybe a cheap screen protector ? Just some thoughts.

Try wiping and re-installing OS without restoring back up and see if it fixes, if not its hardware

No I don't use a screen protector, also would anyone know why the proximity sensor on the phone doesn't turn the screen black when it is put to your face. The screen stays lit but you can see the proximity light flickering.

If I wipe and reinstall would I be able to retrieve my passwords from password keeper,because it's really the only app I need because of all the passwords I keep in the app. Running OS 10.3.2.2339.

Its happened with me a lot but my problem was the weather in hot days its happens most but the screen runs buttery in cloudy and rainy day weird but true and experienced

Yes u can retrieve passwords if u back em up
