You do know that you can "magnify " your screen on BlackBerry 10? There is an accessibility toggle in the settings that allows you to size up fonts / photos you can't read . They even have closed captioning . Hearing impaired? No problem ,the toggle is there too. All Built in to the OS no apps needed!

Yes you can! Just pinch and open up the pinch. I do it regularly when I'm using the app. Especially to view memes :-))

I think it's important to keep in mind that the passport is also very thin, so it is designed to go together with a real passport in a folder style case for easy travel, can be snugly carried better than a smaller thicker phone in a purse or business jacket pocket, and also in a lab/medical coat outside pocket. Not sure I like the squared corners but it does seem to be reflective of a general move towards 'modernist' design over 'ergonomic' curves. Anyways we know for sure at least Apple won't try to sue, lol. So although it may turn out to be a bit of a laughing stock, there will likely be a small number of supporters from unexpected places, and the phones will be liked and bought by many in the non-consumer target markets (and a small subset of consumers who want something different). If BlackBerry markets it correctly they may be able to prevent some of the ridicule, but a little bit isn't a negative thing because it will just draw more attention.

Can anyone tell me how to write symbol and capital letter in Bb passport since there is only 3 rows keyboard (No ALt, Sym keyboard) ?

I'm not 100% sure, but what I suspect and hope is that it will be similar to the Z10 & Z30 keyboard in that you give it a quick swipe down and you get your number and alternate symbol keys.

This is one of the keyboard features I love from my Z10 and one of the things I would find difficult to do without now.

I'm definitely going to be buying the Passport. The original mock ups I wasn't a fan of but when I see Chen showing it off I loved it.

I've been primed to get the Classic for some time, but must say the Passport has me interested. I'll just have to check both out at the store when they come out before making my final choice. I think the Passport is a very interesting design which goes in a very different direction than anything else on the market. Congrats to Mr. Chen for trying something different.

I would take a serious look at it, might take the place off my PlayBook or be used as a second tablet.

BlackBerry is giving us a lot of options, those who are not paying attention don't know what they are missing..!

I am always amazed that folks still use their Playbook. Painfully slow.

I'm very curious about the in depth demonstration of this phone and whatever keyboard technology they jammed in its unusual design. It could be a real hit. People with artistic sense seemed to like the design a lot

Anyone think the Passport is going to have the feel of a Kobo or another ereader?

I really feel like the amazon partnership is having some influence on form factor...
