I was using it for a while as a small tablet of sorts but the lack of entertainment apps and good to really bad performance of Android apps finally got to me, though I do miss the device.

I loved my Z30 and my Passport, BB10 was the best OS, very powerful and it just flows.*


I bought a PRIV for my daily driver about 3 months ago and everyday I miss my passport. Android is nowhere near the OS that BB10 was but the mobile connected world has now been made for IOS and Android.*


I just tried to move back to my Passport but everything is slowly disappearing. The browser is becoming outdated, important apps are no longer available and it is only going to get worse.*

My SE is my daily driver. I thought for a moment to get a Priv, but decided to stay with Passport. I feel so comfortable in BB10. And the Passport is a great piece of hardware.

In a similar boat. Have the dtek60 which I like for the most part but I always find myself back on my Passport. BB10 just makes sense to me. Sometimes I feel like I force myself to use my dtek just to justify buying it. Not that dtek60/android is bad, just bb10/Passport is that good!

I use my passport as my daily work phone, and it's fantastic as a work tool and I have my priv as my home phone, so I can play all my favourite games

I use the passport as my main dad phone. Whenever I receive a call from my father, I remove the SIM from what I'm using, pop it into the passport and call him back. I also read and respond to all his texts exclusively on the passport.

I also have good reason to believe the man claiming to be my father is not who he says he is.

I just upgraded my personal phone from a red Passport to KEYone. But I managed to switch my work phone from the Classic to my old RedBerry. After a good device wipe, clearing out the Cobalt crap, I'm left with a really solid device with a much better battery life without having all those Android apps running in the background. I like the Passport for what it is and isn't. It's a good work phone and not a good App phone.

I bet when you put all that "crap" on there you were happy.
I know I am grateful. Hope he does it again when and if it is needed. He needs a much larger donate button or I mean a much larger crowd to donate. I have an idea, much larger Donations.

I love the passport. Such a unique form factor and BB10 is so nice to use. I did have to retire it as a phone because it's a declining platform. It will still be used as a killer mp3 player, game system for kids to use in public, and a public WiFi browser.

I appreciate my Passport SE more and more as I immediately turned to it after my iPhone camera crapped out on me due to what I later found was a hardware stabilizer issue that can't be repaired. I urgently whipped out the SE from my pocket. The video I urgently took with my SE was too long to email so I simply moved to it to my SD card. What can be easier than that? Oh, perhaps doing all of the above with a Pixel. But I don't have one.

I use my Classic/Passport (I always flip in between the two) alongside my 7Plus/iPad. Best of both worlds and I don't feel like I am missing out on anything. Let's me use the advantages of each and fill in the needs that the other phone can't.

It works for me. I know dual wielding doesn't work for a lot of people.

Well since you asked, I'm not a big fan of any app store on bb10 besides blackberry world. so what I do is first check the app I want on Google play store, find the newest version number, google 'xxx'version number'.apk and 9 times out of 10 that works. For other occasions, like if I want a modded spotify apk that works for sure, I use a channel in telegram

Why not use the Yalp Store which is a direct front for Google Play Store. You can read about it and download from here: https://f-droid.org/packages/com.git...min.yalpstore/

-plus it has a beautiful UI and is very unobtrusive as far as using resources, notifications etc. It does not, however, have old versions of apps like Aptoide or Apkmirror or ApkPure.
