I am by choice. I need flash. I have a backup z30 with the update and none of my TV stations work anymore. The tv websites post a message that I need the flash player.
I was going to wait to update as well but after talking to a few that are smarter than me about Flash, the web and OS's in general, I was persuaded to upgrade. I've had no problems (knock on wood) with the version I received (10.3.1.1581) viewing the web sites I frequent. The upgrade is full goodies like a better camera, ability to assign shortcut keys and expanded options within applications.
Same here. I haven't tried to update after seeing the minor glitches. 10.3.0 which came stock with the phone for me is a very stable OS. So updating is not at all priority nor a must for me.
When it comes, it comes. In the meantime, Bell can take their time pushing any update to the Passport.
I still am.
Originally it was because of Flash, but I downloaded the Photon browser like some here recommended, but now I'm waiting until the flicker and notification glitches are ironed out.

I'm happy with the update so far.

But can you live stream news live from www.livestation.com or watch a soccer or hockey game live in desktop mode without going to Google playstore and installing some android app?
I still am.

I tried photon from Amazonstore and it does not work. Websites tell me that I do not have the correct flash driver.
Where did you download photon from? Google playstore? That would mean opening a Google account.
I am, on Rogers in Toronto. They just pushed the Z30 update today but the Passport update hasn't been released officially from what I can tell.
It has! I received the notification from Rogers yesterday. First for the passport and several hours later for the z30. Passport was bought unlocked from Shopblackberry. I did not update.
My BlackBerry Passport updated on its own when I turned it on and off, I didn't even want to update to 1581 yet. I don't have any issues though, so I'm good.
Well my wife and I each have Passports on the SaskTel network. She received the update 3 days ago and mine still says no update available.. not sure why that is??
I am hesitant to actually do the update when it comes out though. Might wait until the bugs are worked out. And the new calendar design looks horrendous!
The only upside I can see is keyboard shortcuts. However I have gone this long without, so its hard to say.

I downgrade from 10.3.1 to 10.3.0.1418, I have a z30 10.3.0.1418 have all what I need flash premium sound and the good looking of the new OS, the only thing that I can't fix is the Wifi short range, I'm even thinking to downgrade to 10.2.1 just for that it makes me angry

I updated my Passport accidentally today. I can confirm that there is nothing in 10.3.1 worth the upgrade from 10.3.0.148.
I had flickering in settings and the crackberry app for the first hour of use.
It seems to have gone away now.
Nothing with flash works: no video on TVO website, not even BBC radio.
I had to purchase the android photon browser premium with flash but this browser is horrible. Flash works in it but nowhere near the nice integration that exists in the BlackBerry browser in 10.3.0. It does not multitask! That is, I cannot run TV in the photon browser in the background and edit a text or read a website like I did in 10.3.0 in the native browser.
I checked the camera and do not see the big improvement in focus speed that people mentioned. If you turn-off continuous focus in 10.3.0 is just as good.
I will definitely never upgrade my Z30 from 10.2.1 until BlackBerry brings back the flashplayer in the browser.
The BlackBerry flash player had the same resolution as the one on my laptop in Firefox. It is great for watching HD TV on an external HDMI monitor.
The photon flash player is inferior. Worst still, I had to give it permission to all my files, phone, PIN, location.
I don't understand how blackberry can say that this is more secure than using flash in the native browser!
