(Update) The ONLY issue that I've had with my ATT Passport is that my right thumb is sore from stretching it across the screen as I keep trying to use it with one hand. I type with both hands (thumbs), but I scroll and click with one thumb.

A Passport with a tool bar/trackpad would be my ultimate BlackBerry.

I am going on a month with my Passport and no issues at all. I had a leap with speaker issues and I can honestly say the Passport is the fastest blackberry I have used.

Since launch day in the UK, no issues except for the flickering screen which lasted for a day or two a few months ago. Getting s**t done since then.

Bought a PP since end-May when the price got reduced where I used to live (unlocked it used to be $700, after price reduction $450), considered wtf was I doing with the iPhone 5S I had previously. Absolutely in love with the device.

Nothing wrong here other than my battery lasting too long.
That's a good problem to have, don't you think?

With any product some will have issues and some will not. My belief is that MOST will not. So far my device purchased in February has been flawless. Yes I have heard some folks mention this screen lifting problem so I know it exists, and if you have it, then you should get your device replaced, it's defective. But I hardly think this is a problem for everyone, or even for most!

Same problem here with Orange RO, but here BlackBerry is non-existent, they don't even exist here in the retail shops of the telecoms, only online and for a hefty $700

Did any of you PP owners every miss lack of Shift? Especially when typing I always find I use backspace with shift to delete a mistake like wthis (go back to w and hold Shift and hit Backspace to delete w).

I switched out my old original Passport purchased on rogers wireless in launch week and a couple of weeks ago wanted to tried the classic and so I switched once again. Used the classic for about a week and missed the Passport. So with my new passport again NO issues as well

I haven't used a blackberry for quite a few years, but what I do in the situation you describe is a quick double tap on the keyboard, slide back to the letter to delete and then hit the backspace key.
