There does not appear to be an option to silence only the Dial Pad, but you can open the phone app and dial silently from the regular keyboard using the ALT key. Once you've entered the first number you can lock the ALT key with a long press and then continue entering numbers from the keyboard.

I searched a lot to make that annoying dialpad sound silent but couldn't find it in any of the settings.

Set notifications to any silent profile and it will turn off the sound.

Sorry, there are no such setting when you want to silence the dial pad without changing the notification profile. This has been annoying since I had the Z10 and several OS updates have passed and they never thought about addressing this minor feature.

But here is what I do... When you are about to dial the number, I long press the Q key to toggle quickly to Silent profile. Then I can dial quietly. Just don't forget to toggle back to Normal when you're done with the call if you don't want to stay in Silent profile.

Set your App Exceptions in your active profile to OFF.

    *Go to System Settings
    *Notifications
*Under Profile highlight your active profile

Where in the settings do I turn off phone pad audio on my Passport (I am using 10.3.2.440)?-img_20150610_204017.png

*Select it to open and edit settings
*Under 'App Exceptions' header slide 'Sound' off

***This will stop the Dial Pad tones, but also (in the off chance you enjoy app sound alerts) individual application sound...***

You realize you're in the Passport forum, right? There is no Alt key.
