I live in Spain and I have bought last Friday the Red Passport in Amazon USA. I have just received customs documents and they say that it has been manufactured in China. For those people who have already got their phone, can you confirm that?.

All Passports are made in Mexico. Mexico 6 facility to be exact. It's written on the side of the box. Clearly your customs isn't reading and just assumes that because it's a phone it must be made in China. SMH

I have also got the White and Black models and, yes, they have been manufactured in Mexico. Do you own the Red model?.
    Thanks.

I don't have a box in front of me to look at but I think the box typically said made in Mexico, accessories made in China.

The actual device is made in Mexico as some have stated here but the box also states that "Accessories Made In China and Indonesia" a bit more prominently. This may be what the custom's person saw. See the photo below:

It is clear then that is a customs mistake, which relieves me.
    Thanks

Isn't Mexico 6 a plant own by one of the Taiwanese company (not Foxcon)?

Foxconn has a huge plant in Cd. Juarez next to the Santa Teresa, NM port of entry. Its probably made there.

The z10 and z30 were made in Mexico, too, before the Foxconn deal.
So, I don't think the passport is made by Foxconn. Only z3 is.
