Hello!
I would love to get the new Blackberry Passport and as I'm flying to Sydney next week with a stop in Abu Dhabi; I thought it might be a great opportunity to get the phone cheaper. Does anyone know if they have them and for how much? If not is there anywhere in Sydney I could get it? I will be there for a few days before heading to the east coast so I don't think I will have much chance of getting it there.

Hi, I know you can get a Passport through Optus stores but it'll take a couple of days to get it in. I was told they didn't sell BlackBerry handsets anymore but if you ask to have them look at their 'newly' tabs on their computers, they should be able to order it in for you (as per one of the threads on Optus). Or if you're lucky, there could be an unopened box sitting out the back. Mine took two days and it cost me Aud816- Good luck

I'm passing through Abu Dhabi and I think the store is Sharaf dg. On their website it's AED 2,599 which I hoping is a good price and that they have one there.
I've never spent so much money on a phone but after saving up for this move for six years I'm hoping I can get it. ^^
You can probably get it cheaper on axiomtelecom.com, I think they have a deal on the passport.

Keep in mind you might have trouble getting support if you ever have to claim warranty on a BlackBerry which has been bought in a foreign country.

You can buy it in Abu Dhabi duty free for AED2,599...
