Whatsapp pictures folder

When I enter my whatsapp folder, I get the first few pictures that aren't in folders as the thumbnails or icons for my folders that are sorted out by month. I've had my passport before the whatsapp's update that let's it sort my pictures by date. But whenever I enter and exit a folder. It goes back to normal. As you can see in the photo, the first 8 pictures are actually the folders sorted by date.
How do I fix it ?
