    Hi everyone, I just turned on my og and after I installed whatsapp I tried to put my phone number but after that it shows that the version is too old and need update. I clicked on the update button wich redirected me to BlackBerry world but no option for update was shown. Then I checked out the rewiews in there and seemed a lot of people had the same issue. Any idea to fix this out since I know the whatsaap can work till end of June

    Seems you have to reload OS. It happens to me once.

    I can say it works for me but I don't know about broken functions I may not use. I use messages and voice and video calls alright.

    WhatsApp is the most favorite messaging/calling OTT tool I have used on my Blackberrys, but I am warned that it will be ended using/service by this end of June 2017.

    So I started using and also asking my friends/relatives to use Viber instead actively, and it is working very well now.

    I have a Passport SE that I had to do a security wipe and start again from scratch so I use it to experiment with Android apps before loading on my new Passport OG. The android version except for sending pictures or media works fine for messaging and calls. Also works well on my semi retired Z10.

    Good for you in using WA without sending pictures or media!

    Mine is different as besides messaging and calls with WA, I still need to send or share those with others

    Hi Nguyen_Bac I just send pictures or media over another app besides WA. Yes it is a bit of a pain however it is better than nothing until I'm comfortable enough to try to install the fix for this issue. Rocking 24-7 with my Passport OG, SE, & Semi Retired Z10
