    Is it possible to define green led notification for whatsapp android? I can't seem to change it from default red.

    Settings >notification>profile>customise app notifications >whatsapp>led colour

    I did that also, but.... still got a red led notification, it refuses to change to green led.

    The suggestion works for me. So you have to configure it in the device settings and not within whatsapp itself.
