Sarcasm. I cannot download and play Pokemon Go. I wanted to crash into lamp posts and people and drain my battery. . but unfortunately I can't and I have to answer my email and make calls. . like a responsible individual and it makes me sad.

Good for you!
Oh wait there goes there goes one...... yee-haw!
Finally the rest of the world holding their phones out in front of them looks as ridiculous as us Passport users look holding our phones to our ear.

wow what a meaningful post
lesser people like to play games and we have to prove our superiority over them, right?

Yes. <sneering>
Yup! Agreed
BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition
Nice.
Yea, my Passport sucks and I'm upset with it. Who wants a phone with a large square screen, a Quad Core, and all that memory floating around just waiting to be used? I know I don't. I hate my 128 gig Micro SD and wish it was smaller.... maybe like 2 gig. The phone also upsets me because it never crashes, it is easy to surf and text and email and run Apps on, and I unfortunately loaded Cobalt's Google Play Store on it and that sucks because now I've got thousands more Apps I can load. Total suckage.
My next phone will be one that crashes and has limited memory and a smaller rectangular screen. Maybe it will even come PRE-CRASHED so I don't have to wait until it crashes on me. :D

Oh! Pre-Crashed!! I hope it's pre-sweetend too. . it'll stay crunchy in milk!
Yeah! Agree on that phone! But the OS has to be sandpaperly smooth tho
BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition
MobileNations should really look into starting a mobile game app site. Pokemon Go added $9B to the value of Nintendo so that one game is worth twice as much as BlackBerry is worth. It should have its own CEO.

wait but are you for real?? because on my Passport app takes forever to load, are slow to run, and they freeze and crash constantly. and even the native browsie browser doesn't work remotely well, i lost track of all the flaws. not to mention the horrible overheating, inexplicable random black outs and the WiFi connection that's more like WiFi DISconnection... LTE connection is flimsy as hell but I blame the provider for that one.
guess it's high time for system restore
just hope it will actually help

You don't have a choice. You can't play the freaking game even if you wanted to. So what's the point in feeling superior about that?
I'm for real. My Passport runs most apps as well as my Droid does. I have a Droid on a spare line. A few Google Playstore Apps need to be put through Cobalt's "App Scrubber" so that the spoofed Google Play Services recognizes the App as genuine, but most do not. The only app I can't get to work "fully" so far is Google Play Music. This app can play any radio stations, or any albums that I have saved on my Droid, but it can't find any new albums (I have a script to Google Play Music so I can call up ANY album in the catalog). But not a biggie. Amazon Prime Music works great, as does Spotify and Slacker. BTW, I deleted the Amazon Store Slacker App and loaded the Google Play Slacker App. It's MUCH better than the one designed for Berry.
But I'm not "Sideloading" Google Apps, I downloading them directly via Google Playstore right on my Passport with Cobalt's Apps. They all (except for Google Play Music) run as well as on my Droid. Truly. I'd tell you straight up if they didn't.
One more thing that may be important. I have the INTERNATIONAL VERSION UNLOCKED Q30. That may have some bearing on how reliable my LTE coverage has been. I use this on T-Mo but it roams to ATT and has LTE on both solid as a rock with no dropouts.
The Blackberry Passport SUCKS............................is one of my favorite blackberry youtube videos.

At this point, I'm not that interested in playing Pokemon Go as much as I was a year ago with Clash of Clans. But I can't blame all those for getting hooked on the game.

You could have some defective memory or cpu problem in your phone. I think most are not having your problems. I can tell you that my SE. Doesn't warm up or battery drain once or twice a month like att and snap phone does. I don't have Google play loaded either. I'm sure that's why.

It is working on my passport. Check cobalts thread.

Thanks, but I'm running the original Play Store too and put the apps those needed it through Cobalt's patcher.
Perhaps that's it. Any idea what to do about it?
I have the original edition but I have read a few threads here on CB where more people were complaining about the overheating and the WiFi disconnecting...
Was that meant for me?? Do you mean PG?? Then I'll do that, thanks.

I've got it! Nintendo can buy BlackBerry!! It's a great opportunity for the former to get involved with smartphone hardware. In my view, Nintendo is one of the very few electronics companies, with Apple being #1, that "get" the importance of hardware-software synergy, with the content consumers want.

you should be sad, either for missing out on pokemon go or not having a childhood
shocking i tell you>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>shocking!..................... .............lol
Kidding me? Even my old and battered Z30 doesn't behave like that. Besides the obvious lacking of apps situation, everything else is normal and smooth.
Another typical CrackBerry post.
Never change CrackBerry....:not-interested:
I made it work. I yaaay
