It's just going through hd calling, it's not an app. I believe it delivers on the phone of the person you are calling and on their carrier as well as yours.

I ask because my wife and I both have passports, and we stay in LTE areas, but neither of us have seen HD calling.

its based on ur carrier as well not just the phone you are using. Not all carriers support HD calling yet

Also, it depends whether you use the phone that isn't being sold by your carrier. For example, I have HD call when on LTE or 4G using my Z10 on TMO, but this HD doesn't appear when using my Passport. The sound is super crystal clear to me and I perceive no noticeable different between HD call on Z10 and call from my Passport.

    Cheers

To get HD calling, it's a combination of the device supporting it, and the carrier supporting it.

As well as the person on the other end has to have a device and carrier that supports it as well.

For devices, most support it with no issue.

As for carriers, that's hit ot miss. I'm with Wind mobile in Canada, they support HD calling, but not LTE. So that doesn't have to do with it.
