What's with bell mobility in Canada? Why have they not lowered the price of the passport,also why have they not stocked them in best buy what's going on here??

Bell is known for having higher prices than any other Canadian carrier when it comes to hardware, as for Best Buy stock.. Pretty sure it harkens back to The Source actually being the official stores for Bell. Best Buy still sells Bell stuff but on a far less broader scale than what they used to.

Actually if you are already a bell customer and you are up for a renewal they do take $50 off the price so you do not pay the advertised $299 it is $249 plus you can trade in your current phone for even more of a discount. I got mine after the trade in and the discount for $179 plus taxes
This seems to be only at corporate stores not franchise stores. The franchise stores most of them don't even stock the Passport and will try and sell you anything but the Passport.

The Source don't have any BlackBerry phones anymore.. they got pulled a few months ago and my rep told me that he heard we wouldn't get any until further notice..

Oh and they can't be ordered either.

Maybe the silver lining is that I cannot renew without a large penalty until 2015. The stock should be in, and the initial price on 2 yr plan should be more reasonable if things hold true to form.
