A Gen2 Playbook with a stylus would be even better.

Make the Passport a little bit bigger, love the 2 handed use, and I love the direction BlackBerry is going far as mobile computing. Upgrade specs, add a bigger battery, more device storage and keep the ability to add additional storage via sd, and give it the ability to scan and fax directly from the phone. I don't care about the price as long as I get to ditch the pc I'm ok with. Oh and if you can throw in the ability to receive a fax directly to the phone that would be perfect.

I would love a built in stylus for the Passport. It would be a nice tool to have. Awesome for selecting and browsing.

Also being able to sign things online is awesome.

In the end it comes down to how much time and effort BlackBerry wants to put in there devices...

Personally, I think it's really pointless to use any form of stylus on the screen size of any phone. It is perhaps far more productive on a tablet or laptop such as surface pro or ipad. As for regular people, what we need to do with a stylus? Probably is to input text or pin point anything that is displayed, but I can easily accomplish these tasks with BlackBerry keyboard or finger tap.
I myself just bought a Wacom intuos creative stylus to work on my iPad, just to save more trees to protect our planet.

Wait, so would an all touch Passport just drop the keyboard and retain the 1:1 aspect screen? A square all touch? Or would the screen fill the space where the keyboard is, making it some weird aspect ratio like 10:9 or 7:6?

Existing stylists work fine on the Passport. I don't get this suggestion at all.

I'm curious to know what made you buy one if you were making fun of it? I'd love to know what changed your mind! And then, BlackBerry should market your answer!

Good question. I loved my red bbry LE and thought I'd never put it to the shelf... But my wife demanded a passport - she fell head over heels for it. I picked her up one and after setting it up and using it, I was pretty quickly behind her in getting one.

I think the decision for me came down to high end specs. The idea of a faster smoother experience was important to me. And I saw the size was much more manageable than I expected. Moreover the hybrid keyboard I was strongly against wasn't that bad during use and I noticed I wasn't using my Q as the screen felt cramped.

Probably playing with it is what did it. (twss)

One of the only reasons the passport has its weird dimensions is to merge a giant touch screen with a physical keyboard. Imho it wouldn't make sense to create a passport without a keyboard. BlackBerry might as well just make a giant note sized phone with a stylus.
