Silicone while waiting for Ringke...

just searched around the forums... that's a really nice looking holster, but is it really $150.00 just for that holster!?
Fully naked...

Seidio surface case
Hard case with a piece of metal in it. So I can stick it to magic mounts

No the clip is not removable from the holster.
I would be very cautious about putting the hard shell in the case. IMO it puts too much pressure on the device and is extremely difficult to remove once its in the case which may put even more pressure or twisting on the screen causing the infamous "lifting screen" problem. I did it twice and decided not to do it again for this reason. Maybe its would be ok over time but i'm not willing to take an chance on such an expensive phone. Also, once you've done it, you stretched the leather so far that now the naked phone isn't tight enough sitting in the holster.
Mine is a nudist. It wears nothing!

I prefer the naked look but common sense prevailed and I use a Tetded case.

I do like this case ...................think i may have to get one
Mhw100. I just tried using the holster without the hardshell and the passport has a little bit of play while inside as expected. The whole idea for me is to stretch out the leather to accommodate the shell which is working. If the lifting screen happens, I'd just simply file a claim with my damage protection that I bought from Newegg.

My baby is wearing tight black leather, courtesy of Stilgut.

Is it me or the second I see a scratch I feel like I don't want to use it anymore or must buy a new one?

But why would you potentially want to damage the phone in the first place? I know what you mean about the play that's already there but don't you find it is far too tight? I can barely pull the device out of the holster. How are you managing to easily pull it out without really gripping it hard and wrenching on it?
was using official hard shell from blackberry for about a month, but I took it out to show a friend and I refused to put the case back on.
life is way too short for any added thickness in my pocket, and this phone is way too sexy to be wearing a plastic shell when it's out of my pocket.
Mhw100, the leather holster is soft enough to adapt to the size of the phone. For now I can only remove the phone straight up since it is still an exact fit and I'm not a big fan of buying a hard shell and not use it. Until then, if I don't use the holster and just be afraid of damaging my phone? Then I think I bought the wrong phone. I'm confident enough that this smartphone will carry the good blackberry build quality that I'm used to. Life is too short and I worry about caring for my kids instead. That's why I bought the accidental damage coverage for it.

I carry insurance too but I don't want the pita of going through the process for something I've created and was avoidable and not accidental. Particularly with BlackBerry since I don't want the risk of receiving a potentially substandard build quality replacement device. I would love to use both cases as well and as it stands I carry the hard shell in a suit jacket during the week and holster on weekends. When you say that you can lift it straight out, is it not so difficult that you have to use one hand to hold the case and one hand on the phone?
Flip case of BlackBerry but I have ordered another one from Stilgut because my case has been already a lot of wear at the two corners.

I picked up an Ace Above case from Amazon to match my red and black Passport. I'll work with it and the screen protector for a while to see how I like it.

Loving the Hard Shell case.

Coming soon with update :)
Passport SQW100-1 / 10.3.1.2072
OEM hard shell case, works great and doesn't add any bulk. I also bought a QX rugged case for the weekends going to train HEMA or outdoors: http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=992272
Overall, I'm very happy with both pieces. I'd love to see an OEM Leather pouch which allows for the Passport to fit with the hard shell on.
