Right now I am with Verizon and unfortunately Verizon cannot activate the Passport. I'm choosing between the classic and the passport right now and I am wondering if getting the Passport is worth the switch to going to AT&T.

My house is in a dead zone so unless I can get service at my house with AT&T, Verizon is pretty much my only option.

Just wondering what providers you guys use for your passport ???

oh no lol. Yea I have my doubts about AT&T as most people complain about getting no service at my house, regardless of what carrier they use - even people with Verizon claim they get no service, even though I get service with Verizon just fine. From what I understand AT&T is my only option.

If not I'll certainly be happy to get the classic on Verizon.

I am on T- Mobile in US. I bought passport frm shop blackberry directly. When phone call is in progress, I get only 4G displayed instead of 4G lte and data speed decreases dramatically. After call, it resumes 4G lte. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

I can let you know in about a week's time. I switched to AT&T from Verizon yesterday and selected the Passport. I'll be leaving a Z10 which I've been using for a little over a year and have liked very much. My monthly bill dropped $30 and I picked up unused data being dumped back in to the next month's pool.

I will let you know how the coverage is. Verizon had its known "dead zones. " I'm sure AT&T has theirs also, but what can you do. My wife has no complaints thus far. I'm still waiting for my Passport to arrive.

T-Mobile. I'm happy with them so far. I've rarely had a dropped call, and call quality is great. I am using a BlackBerry so maybe that helps with the call quality. Lol

AT&T has something called a micro cell, hook it up to your internet and bingo, you have your own little cell tower, right in your house.
They gave me one and $50.00 several years ago, to test and evaluate. I didn't need it, but what the hell, and 50 bucks,
It worked pretty damn well, seamless switching between real cell and micro cell when I came home or left, and any minutes or data on the micro didn't count against my 'bucket'.
No idea what the cost or such is nowdays.

I use T-Mobile. Their coverage has improved dramatically in the Carolinas in the last two years. A year ago I would be on Edge less than a mile from my house but now I get LTE nearly everywhere. There used to be a dead zone of over an hour during the four hour drive to the coast with no coverage at all (even roaming) but now there's at most a thirty minute area where I'm roaming on AT&T for voice/txts. I'm pretty happy with it for the price I pay.

Wi-Fi calling is a big plus too with them.

    That's normal.
The Passport doesn't run Volte calling.
So when you make a call, it jumps into 4G. But once done it will go back to 4G LTE.

Do you have a AT&T Passport? Just wondering, as Wi-Fi calling app on original Passport was buggy.

TMO in the U.S. Works flawlessly. LTE and everything. Only drawback is no Wi-Fi calling out of the box.

Unless you're going to be where everyone else who posts in this thread is at, their carrier is a moot point. You need to be asking people around the locations you normally go if you're concerned about coverage.
