I'm using an X220 Thinkpad. Just upgraded the SSD drive to a larger size, so hope I can get another year or two out of it.
I love this form factor when flying. I hate it when the person in front of me reclines, but the low profile of the X220 means the screen doesn't shut on me and I can still get some work done.

Surface Pro 3 and new keyboard is a dynamo. Complete laptop and Tablet replacement. Love not requiring both and ditching my tablet.

I would rather have your machine because the build quality is fantastic and the keyboard has a battery but I wanted fully functional radios on Android-x86 and bluetooth on the Helix doesn't work. Otherwise, your machine runs native Android beautifully

    I built a beastly PC
    What you build?

I have a passport as well and several work laptops as I'm in IT and enterprise computer deployment ..... I've used pretty much every Lenovo and Mac keyboard now. I currently run a T520 and a T440p. I also was just testing the latest X1 and a few of the X2**Ts.

I would have to say the bigger the better with keyboard quality, the traditional Lenovo / IBM keyboards a well know for a reason. The newer styles found on the T440s, X1s and even the Yogas do a surprisingly good job for slim designs.

I own a Surface Pro 3 at home, but it does lack in feel. Definitely does the job.

I recently thought about getting a Surface Pro 3. I ended up getting a MacBook Air 11 inch. (2015 edition). I love it. Very portable, and very powerful.

Did the exact same thing. I'm a big DIY fan. Love my X220 keyboard and the fact it so easy to customize and upgrade hardware and software.

    Pairs perfectly with my Passport.

The only reason that I didn't get surface pro 3 is the lack of wireless data connection to my wireless share plan. So for my main on the go computing device, I use a Samsung Galaxy tab S 10.5 LTE for work access or on the go. Otherwise, my laptop at home Is my HP ENVY i7 running windows 8.1.

Thinkpad guy. Current W530 win8.1 and SSD drive. Will be upgrading at the end of the year. I use excel most of the day. The Passport simply can't handle excel power use.
