Thanks! . Then, it makes me wonder why John Chen does NOT carry a more secure phone, like the BlackBerry Passport or BlackBerry Classic as he stated in his December 2018 interview in Toronto ? Hmmmm???

Careful truth4u, you're opening up a can of worms here.....

But what the heck: the answer is he wants to promote BBMobile of course, and use "secure" Android.

I'm sure the company has a very good IT group that is managing their phones thus making them as secure as any old BlackBerry 10.

I have no doubt that he has a very "secure" phone, thanks to his IT department but at the same time, why be so contradictory by stating that another one of your phones is most secure but you're not using it lol. I don't get it.

The security offered by a properly managed (EMM) BlackBerry Android and/or Knox and/or iPhone is sufficient for 99.9% of any conceivable business or government.

The rest would need a custom solution anyway.

The VAST majority of vulnerabilities lie with data in transit or data stored outside of the device.

    That make sense! Absolutely.

Saw on another thread that Chen confirmed presently using a KEY2 after using a PP in the past. But I remember that his wife was using a Samsung at one time. Wink -- Chen is copying me

If you were in his position, wouldn't you carry everything? You should check out the competition and see what things are really like.

glad he finally pick up K2 - better late than never. Use sammy or iphone should be fine since BB corp suite handles all of them for high security. As long as he is not using this (below), BB company is not ready to sink below water... (with 5G comming and Canadian Gov hand out 40 million to Nokia for network gear, BB should really start put out handset - hardware, that can be integrated into secure 5G, IMHO. his comment might bear fruit for a secure handset).
Smartphones with no buttons or ports look cool, but you probably don't want them yet
