I love my passport because of the wideness of the screen, touch keyboard is alright but not that useful to me. All touch passport will be better for watching movies and app aspect ratio.

I do wonder what will happen to BlackBerry if they instead released another high end all touch device. Bye bye BlackBerry?

Different topic, but I'd buy a Classic with a Passport screen.

I'd trade in my Passport today for an equivalent phone with a Classic or Q10 keyboard.

I personally wouldn't have. They should go for it if there is a demand.

Very interesting! But physical keyboard really mattered for me. Which is, along with distinct form factor favoured me in selecting my first BB device. This form factor I think LG Vu phone had it sometime back. I wouldn't mind a slider type keyboard that can be concealed from the back.

Coming from a Z10, I definitely would! I love my Passport how it is but BB10 all touch screens devices are pretty awesome and well optimized.

An all touch screen 4:3 aspect ratio, same size as the current passport would still be another innovative design idea because that would still make Blackberry the first to implement an all touch wide screen phone that isn't too long. I prefer keyboard myself but I sill love an all touch screen idea for those that prefer having a better media viewing experience.

That would also give Blackberry a signature look. More models with the passport shape can be an iconic symbol for the company. People would recognize that it's a Blackberry thing instantly.

I bought my passport specifically for the physical keyboard... so nope, i'd stick with android if it was an all touch device.

It's funny. Out of all my friends I'm the only one still rocking a BlackBerry. I feel like a leader. Someone who has better things to do than stand in a line for days for a freaking phone. With that in mind, I actually feel like a winner.

The funny thing is I see BlackBerry products in a number of tv shows where powerful or technical characters are rocking a BlackBerry.

I can't justify a new BlackBerry right now but bring on an all-touch Passport. I don't mind being an ugly duckling. Remember the ugly nerd in high school, he's now banging the hottest person around and making tons of cash. People always under estimate these people. That's what the BlackBerry Passport reminds of.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat but I'm afraid it would not have created so much good hype as the Passport did
I have to agree, would have been good I'd they introduced it at the same time.

I have posted several times requesting an all touch Passport. Also add a stylus

As an Architect / enterprise user who runs their business through their phone, screen size is important. Having connectivity to peripheral devices is important. This also requires extra horsepower, so give us premier specs - above the Passport. I have been in a hotel room connected to the TV for a monitor, using a BT mouse and keyboard, connected to my office computer, modifying dwgs. This is a very slow process as the connections to peripherals eats up resources past what the OS needs. I want a large screen size to allow for field use.

No. I bought the Passport because of the keyboard. BB has fallen down largely in part because of a misguided focus on handsets that went against the design acumen that made them famous in the first place. Physical keyboards do not need to be phased out - the Passport keyboard is an excellent example as to why - I am quickly smitten with the hybrid keyboard on this thing, with the touch/hover capabilities it has. Best of both worlds so far.

Honestly, if for some silly reason I decided to go to an all-screen phone with a virtual keyboard, it wouldn't be a BB.

Please elaborate. Just curious to what the next replacement for the Z30 might be because the Leap is definitely not it and the upcoming slider is, well, not all touch.

No, let's keep two aspect ratios.
    BINGO.

Keeping the Passport's shape but eliminating the keyboard would result in (roughly) a 3:4 portrait screen ratio (or 4:3 landscape). We've already got 16:9 and 1:1. Adding a third one for a single high-end model just makes a headache for developers.

Soooo, would you prefer a "traditional" 16:9 all-touch with the same specs as the Passport? Or is the actual shape important too?
