Greetings.

This morning I took some time playing with various headsets/ear buds on my Passport. I have a pair of Sennheiser MM70i which I used so far with my Mac and iPad. Beside the fact that the cords are to thin and I have to remove knots here and then, I was very happy with them.

I also have a pair of iPhone ear buds which not really fit into my ears so never used them.

The ones that come with the Passport seem to be fine and the sound is deep. What I noticed was that when plugged in, you better don't turn around the connector or you get this scratching noise. None of the other ear buds have this problem.

The most annoying part is that you cannot control the loudness with the ear buds. I think this was never a problem with the Q10 and Z30 - but I might be wrong.

For now I will keep the Sennheiser since that scratchy noise when turning the connector is just a poor engineering work in my view and a bit annoying.

And I can survive without the loudness control hoping that 10.3.1 will make this work on the Passport.

What are you experiences? What ear buds, if at all, you plan to use/use today?
